Silent Purse Auction fundraising event to support Early Childhood Success!

Ticket prices are $100/each. Sponsorships are available.

Did you know that less than half of our students are currently reading at grade level? Or that 88% of students who failed to earn a high school diploma were struggling readers in third grade? Developing early literacy skills is crucial for future success! The Black River United Way has the bold goal to help get 90% of third-grade students served by BRUW programming and strategies to be on or above grade￾level by 2031. But we can't do it alone!

Join us for our 2nd Annual Power of the Purse! event on Thursday, March 21 for a Women's Luncheon to improve the literacy rates in our community. All proceeds for this event will benefit BRUW's improving Childhood Success initiative through

Mission: Ready and Mission: Read. These initiatives support children right here in Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties.
