EXCITING AND FUN COMMUNITY EVENT!

On Saturday, April 22, the Carolina Human Reinvestment Community Garden will be holding its third annual Earth Day Festival. Organized to bring together and unify the diverse Pawleys Island and Georgetown County communities, we will be celebrating with a fun afternoon of educational events; live music, food; garden, health care, and environmental groups; church and civic groups, crafts vendors, plant sales, raffles, artists, face painting, children’s activities, and more.

Live music will be performed by Just Pete, Crossroads, and Sweet Tea. Additional music will be provided by Radio Baha’i, 90.9 FM.

Food will be provided by the No Boundaries International Food Truck, Black Cat Kitchen, Sweet Baby Cupcakes, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and Kona Ice.

Carolina Human Reinvestment broke ground on the community garden in May 2020 as part of its mentoring and after-school program. Through dedicated volunteers and generous donors, it has grown beyond everyone’s expectations, annually producing thousands of pounds of fruits and vegetables, all given back to the community; to food banks and soup kitchens.

Admission is free!  This fun family event is 11 am - 4 pm at the CHRSC Community Garden, 772 Petigru Drive in Pawleys Island.
